img_5119_areyoumxAn Applied History Internship with Greenville Chautauqua offers the unique opportunity to be a part of presenting interactive historical theater programs designed to stimulate thought, entertain and educate.

Our main events are held from January through June. In June, we present a ten-day festival of 40+ FREE shows performed by nationally acclaimed historical interpreters. Your internship will consisting  with the preparation and promotion of our events as an integral part of a small team. Intern duties are structured to support our regional outreach and event success.

Stellar resume opportunities may include (but are not limited to): strategy and event planning, performer research and interviews, grant writing, collateral production assistance for program guides, brochures, social media and web presence, performance production assistance, event monitoring, hosting and analytics through audience surveys, interviews and social media engagement, as well as public relations coordination with regional media outlets.

Internships are unpaid resume builders. Flexible hours Jan – May or May – June.

Professional Arts Management Internship

A Professional Internship in Arts Management with Greenville Chautauqua offers the unique opportunity to be a part of producing interactive historical theater programs designed to simulate thought, entertain and educate. Our main events are held January through June.

In June we present a ten-day festival of 40+ FREE shows performed by nationally acclaimed historical interpreters. Your internship will comprise assistance with the preparation and promotion of our events as an integral part of a small team. Intern duties are structured to support our regional outreach and event success.

This rare arts management experience may include (but is not limited to): event management and analytics through audience surveys, interviews and social media engagement, performer research and interviews, strategy and event planning, performer and stage production assistance, nurturing regional associations and coordination with other events, volunteer coordination, fundraising strategies, grant research and writing, collateral production assistance for program guides, brochures, social media and web presence, as well as public relations coordination with regional media outlets.
